Notice of Flag Change
Due to the new ruling from the South African Supreme Court of Appeals, the Presidential Nation of the Union can no longer display the former South African Flag.
To avoid a possible misunderstanding of purposes and to avoid potential legal issues, after proper legal consultation, the Presidential State decided that effectively, from October 26, 2023, ET, the presidential state will change from the former Republic of South Africa flag to the current South African flag that is deemed legal and conformed to the current South African Constitution in real life. The historical settings, history, and other decisions made in this setting will remain unchanged.
This change takes effect immediately.
