Upon the grassy fields, the sun named Suilia rises from the far away mountains, marking it as the beginning of the day. At the castle town of Al-Qus (Modern day Valle de Arcos), a general named Tafísal stares at the new day from the walls of the castle. He has just been promoted as general weeks ago after a grand defense victory by Emir Salimasso, and is in charge of the army guarding and defending the city of Al-Qus he just moved to due to orders by said emir. Even though the victory he had achieved made him proud, he is worried about the safety of the Annayad nekos during the now ongoing war against Catholic pure humans from Sanctmunitis, as he is a neko himself.

Field looks clear, green and the grass is moving by the wind, but the wind doesn't stop the temperature from being warm. Tafísal then notices marching figures far away, he even sees big, brown objects and shiny gray men march towards the castle. Noticing the flags and banners, it looks awfully similar. Right there, he realizes that Hispania has sent an army towards the big, fortified city of Al-Qus. Are they here to lay a siege on the city? Asked Tafísal after seeing catapults, dozens of footmen with spears, swords and bows, and even cavalry knights.

Tafísal rushes to his soldiers defending the castle walls of Al-Qus, warning about a Hispanic siege and giving orders to bowmen to form position on the walls of the city. They comply with the orders, rushing towards the walls with their bows and some men with ballistas and some others with crossbows. Spearmen and swordsmen were accompanying the far range units in case enemy footmen put up ladders or build siege towers. While defenses are being prepared, bells were being ringed to warn city settlers of Al-Qus about a siege.

At the Hispanic siege forces, Cristoval is leading the army to march towards the castle, he is a general who has participated in many battles to capture Scandinavian and Annayad provinces, with all of them achieving victory. He orders at least 200 of his swordsman soldiers to kill any Annayad people outside the castle bringing farmland food to the place. The men comply, drawing their swords and heading to those carrying food for citizens. Moments later, they do so, kill anyone bringing supplies to feed the people of Al-Qus, completely cutting the city off from the farmlands and seizing the said lands.

Tafísal sees this disgusting taunt, and orders the men to begin shooting arrows and ammunition against the siege forces, bowmen follow the orders, shooting arrows with their bows against the nearest Hispanic men and those who killed farmers and suppliers. The rain of arrows kill 87 men, while the rest of those targeted have used shields to block the arrows.

Soon, Hispanic ballistas have begun shooting bolts against defending bowmen, while trebuchets are launching projectiles to target structures and units behind the wall.

The siege has begun.

One and a half month later

The siege is working, civilians are starving, defenders have tried many attempts to break the siege, but failed in all of them, breaking both sides, especially defender ones.

Cristoval now stated that it's time for the gaining of the castle of Al-Qus, soldiers are putting up ladders against the walls of the castle, while Hispanic bowmen back up the swordsmen by targeting Annayad defense soldiers and units, especially those with swords and bows. Minutes later, the defenses have broken, and one wall has been destroyed by Ballistas, letting dozens of Hispanic soldiers enter the castle through an alternate way other than the gates, attempting to combat Annayad soldiers.

After hours of battle, Tafísal is killed by Cristoval himself, and Hispania wins the battle, gaining the castle town of Al-Qus. Cristoval, however, respects Tafísal's bravery and desperate feelings to save the city, for it was honorable instead of letting citizens down. He and the Annayad men have fought well to defend the city, but this victory is just the beginning for the end of the Emirate.
