I am glad to see the embassy established with Philosophers. It’s a region I’ve become involved with. New regions are difficult to get off the ground, but in this case there are several people helping. Still very small.

When The Maritimes started out fourteen years ago we were lucky to attract some eager, active people, but in that first year we had 20 members at most. We’ve never been much bigger than we are now. Quality not quantity!

Philosophers is really a re-founding, isn’t it?

Philosophers is indeed the continuation of Philosophy 115. This is stated on Philosophy 115’s World Factbook Entry. That makes it easier than starting a region from scratch, but goodness me you see how few nations in a region of 45 nations (Philosophy 115 is roughly the size of The Maritimes) are actively taking part.
