Yeah, I agree. And that's the unfortunate thing. A lot of people think the "solutions" to guns are easy but the issue is simply just much more complex. It's hard not to come up with an idea without having several legitimate follow-up questions concerning how it'll work, its implementation in practice, its effectiveness, & especially the constitutional legality of it all.
Are you basically suggesting a license that makes you eligible to own a gun? Akin to what states like New York has, but just at the federal level?
An easy to obtain license that just requires you take like an hour long safety session and not have been convicted of a violent crime in the past
Records would ideally be held and organized by county wide officials rather than the state or federal government

Like when I was on this region it was always yapping w you and bhavani that would make my day brighter, thats just the kind of person you are. You literally bring light into other people's lives, and im a complete stranger on the internet, so imagine what you do for your friends. Youre such an amazing person bro and Im really sorry to hear that you think you're worth the cuts on your chest. Your body is a beautiful vessel carrying your beautiful soul, one i hope you never choose to give up. I promise on every single thing you see around you that it'll get better. Seriously. I hope you get better. I dont know what you're going through because I know every experience is different, but with whatever emotional toll is weighing on you, I hope you understand how much you positively impact us all and how much we value you. Im sorry for intruding but im very glad you have friends around you to make you realize genuinely how special you are.
