The Mountains and Valleys of The Front Range is a mammoth, cultured nation, ruled by Cairo Rivers with an even hand, and remarkable for its pith helmet sales, free-roaming dinosaurs, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic, humorless population of 9.455 billion Front Rangers are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, corrupt, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Industry, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Barker Meadow. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1.9%.

The frighteningly efficient Front Ranger economy, worth a remarkable 2,408 trillion wampums a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Retail, Information Technology, and Gambling. Average income is an amazing 254,745 wampums, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 2,325,546 per year while the poor average 3,077, a ratio of 755 to 1.

Almost all of the nation's water is piped into the country from abroad for exorbitant prices, city rooftops are pockmarked with the shattered remains of high velocity delivery drones, gossip magazines have pictures of Cairo Rivers sunbathing on the beach with political rivals, and mathematicians are gathering an infinite number of coyotes and typewriters to see if they can recreate the works of Max Barry. Crime is all-pervasive, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. The Front Range's national animal is the coyote, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

The Front Range is ranked 307,314th in the world and 4,037th in the South Pacific for Least Corrupt Governments, with 18.62 percentage of bribes refused.
