Consigahrian Imperial Protectorates Regional Message Board
Loading...While the Emperor speaks with clarity, and the Supreme Moderator with conviction, Lycerady will remind all: governance is measured not only by words but by what is delivered to the table. Our people enjoy the highest quality food on the planet — a testament to results, not rhetoric. Let the throne shine, let the lanterns glow, but let us not forget the harvest that feeds them both.
In the Isles, we know a lighthouse must stand tall — but it serves no purpose without the sailors to navigate by it. His Majesty holds the light; Zemetria charts her course. Perhaps our Protectorates flourish best when both tasks are done in concert. The Alethean tide rises for all, not only the Crown.
Your Majesty, I accept the clarity of your statement, though I note its rigidity. I did not light Zemetria’s flame to compete with the Flame of the Crowned Steppe, but neither will I snuff it to avoid the appearance of brightness. Protocol, as you say, grants the Throne the right to steward this union — yet protocol, too, grants its members the right to speak plainly when the light falters or casts shadow.
Zemetria will continue to abide by the accords. We will also continue to speak without fear, for that is the courage the Protectorates claim to champion. If the scepter commands the light, let it illuminate the path ahead, not merely the gilded steps of the throne room.
Supreme Moderator Velis,
You must excuse me, for a second there I thought you said the Throne was so bright a light that it casts shadows, which is a problem. Why is that a problem? Your nation contributes to the RGDP like all fifteen of us, but which nation commandeers the Imperial Navy? Which nation do you default to for protection from IEDs and WMDs? And which nation founded the legal entity that is the Consigahrian Imperial Protectorates? Was it one of you? No, that would have been Consigahria, correct?
Your flame and voice are acknowledged, and their warmth is felt across the Protectorates. Please recall this: a lantern that swings too freely in the wind risks the glass shattering and scattering its light into confusion. The Throne bears the charge of keeping our union from stumbling, and sometimes that means shielding the path from distractions, however well-meant they were intended to be.
Please, in the future, continue to speak freely, and let me remind you that your counsel, like the counsel of all of you, is most welcome; but understand the unalterable, legally inalienable truth, that the accords you honor rest on a pillar higher than any single flame. That pillar is the Throne itself. And while many stars may guide with their brilliant lights, there can be but one sun under which the Protectorates rise.
Let that be the final word.
In grace,
Cornelius Davis XX,
The Imperial Unified Republics of Consigahria
Your Majesty,
Zemetria acknowledges and affirms the Throne’s leadership, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to the accords. We value the stability the Throne provides, and we will continue to contribute to the Protectorates’ prosperity under your stewardship unless otherwise instructed.
However, I must ask the Throne not to close the case so hastily, but to reopen and reconsider the case.
I take no issue with recognizing the Throne’s historic and strategic role in the formation and protection of the Protectorates — these truths are self-evident to all. But you must also know this: loyalty to the Throne is not measured in silence, but in the courage to speak when silence would serve neither justice nor unity.
Zemetria has no ambition to rival Consigahria’s station, only to ensure that the light you speak of reaches every corner of our union and beyond. If our voice is sometimes spirited, it is because we believe a strong Protectorate is built not solely on power and origin, but on dialogue and shared stewardship as well.
I will heed your reminder of our structure, as I trust you will heed our reminder that a structure stands strongest when all its pillars remain sound — and yes, sometimes that means reinforcing them with courageous words as well as deeds.
It's important to me, as well as my people, that all citizens in all CIP nations have an equal voice when it comes to federal and regional matters. As representatives of our nations, each of us has a responsibility to ensure that our people are well provided for. Challenging your authority by appealing, in every matter, is important to my people and quintessential to maintaining intraregional harmony; so please, Your Majesty, forgive me for this intrusion, but Zemetria asks that you open your heart a little bit more.
All national leaders, from our Prime Ministers to our Presidents to our well-respected Emperor, should have an equal voice in regional discussions. I would be very grateful to be allowed to elaborate on why that approach works best in contemporary society.
Supreme Moderator Ardyn Velis,
Didn't you hear me, Ardyn? The case is closed. It will not be reopened today. Consigahria is the cornerstone nation of this region. Let me paint a clear picture for you.
Acting as Consigahria, I am, if you will, the CEO on the corporate family tree. Below me is a staff captain, who is the World Assembly regional delegate. Presently, unsurprisingly, that's Consigahria. That may change in the future, but for now it's Consigahria. Below the staff captain, whoever that may be, are the vassals—a group of single representatives from each respective nation who have their own staffs and governments, a group of people whose voices are equal to one another as lawyers in a federal court. When you write to the CIP RMB, you submit your voice to a corporate federal court, and I expect each submission to comply with proper federal court etiquette. Each nation has a GDP, a white market, and probably a black market, and the value of all of those summed up creates the RGDP, which defines how contemporarily wealthy a region is on average. My vassals contribute to my RGDP as employees, as lawyers, as equals to one another.
This is not a metaphor.
Consigahria is at the helm, and there is only one helm, which is not up for grabs. If you touch my helm, you're going to lose a finger. Don't make me repeat it. Please take a look at what I have said. The case is closed, the matter settled. Let that be the final word.
With cadence,
Emperor Cornelius Key Davis XX,
The Imperial Unified Republics of Consigahria
Why did it take you until the third warning by the Emperor to shut your mouth? Is that not high disrespect?
By the authority vested in me as Generalissimo of Abaroi, head of the Imperial Armada, I affirm the Throne’s supremacy without question or hesitation. Abaroi lives and dies by the Crown’s command. Where the Emperor leads, our banners follow, and our lives are pledged. No flame, no lantern, no voice may rise above the sun of Consigahria, nor even cast a shadow upon its light.
Supreme Moderator Velis, your tongue runs hot and cuts sharp to the quick, but in war, a soldier learns that heat without discipline burns his own hand. You speak of sovereignty and equality, but you forget the oaths your Commonwealth swore when it entered this Protectorate. You forget the shield that shelters you, the fleets that guard your harbors, and the men who bleed so that your people may speak freely. That shield is Consigahria. Those fleets are Consigahria’s. And those men are mine, sworn to the Emperor, not to you.
Supreme Moderator Velis, discipline guides the sword, not vanity. You speak of equality and sovereignty as though the Protectorates are a marketplace of voices. They are not. They are a fortress. And every fortress has a line of command and one commander. The harbor walls belong to Consigahria. The sword belongs to Abaroi. And you, Zemetria, are sheltered by both.
Do not mistake tolerance for weakness. The Throne allows your counsel, but the Throne is not obliged to bow to it. Abaroi stands ready to defend the Emperor’s word not only with rhetoric but with rifles, ships, and blood.
In service and in arms,
Sebastian Valerius I
Generalissimo of Abaroi
Generalissimo Valerius, your devotion honors me. But please remember: in this chamber, words weigh as heavily as armies. The Throne does not need swords rattled where dialogue has already been concluded. Let all Protectorates recall—civil war is forbidden, and loyalty is shown best through discipline, not thunder.
Emperor C. Key Davis XX,
The Imperial Unified Republics of Consigahria
From the Office of the Supreme Moderator of the Third Commonwealth of Zemetria, greetings.
We hereby notify the Board and our fellow nations of a forthcoming national initiative driven by newly‑published statistics. Although the Commonwealth flourishes in many respects, the recent indication that our land is ranked 259,205th globally and holds the 2nd highest Unexpected Death Rate in the Protectorates signals that we cannot rest on calm seas alone. The national Bus Surprisal Index of 26.72 confirms this urgency.
Accordingly, the Commonwealth will initiate a full Inquiry into Unexpected Fatalities. The Ministry of Transport, Office of Mystical Affairs and National Statistical Tribunal have been tasked with exploration of root causes—from transit anomalies to metaphysical influences. Should findings warrant, the Order of the Silver Fox will be deployed to enforce protective measures in affected regions.
We offer this update in the spirit of transparency, vigilance, and communal well‑being. May our partnership with the Board and our sister Protectorates be strengthened by this candid action.
Supreme Moderator Ardyn Velis
Third Commonwealth of Zemetria
