A suicide truck bomb struck a Badlands sector barracks killing 241 soldiers and military personnel and an additional 150 were seriously wounded.
After EDF forces mopped up almost all resistance in Southern Kyrat after almost a year, the bulk of the military forces made their way to the pass to the north.
Once the canyon pass was full of military personnel RF fighters sprung a deadly trap stopping the advance in its tracks and clogging the pass with the wreckage of military equipment and vehicles.
