The Sands Regional Message Board

The sands casino wrote:Hi all,

I had been thinking of taking a break from running the casino. It was feeling a little bit like a chore. And if something stops being fun, it's time to stop.

Coincidentally, Imgur (the website I use for all the photos in The Sands Times and my other factbooks) is no longer available for users in the UK like me. This means that my collection of images is no longer available to me. That's my collection of images of entertainers who sang at the original Sands casino. My collection of 1950s photos of people playing slots, baccarat, craps, and the rest at the Sands casino. My collection of 1960s alcoholic beverage adverts. It would be a lot of work to retrieve them or find alternatives.

While part of this region, I learned a lot of fascinating things. But my big takeaway was Frank Sinatra standing up for racial equality at the Sands and in Las Vegas. He didn't like the status quo, and he used his influence to make changes for the better. I'd like to be better at applying that lesson elsewhere.

You never know, I may be back again someday. But I think this song is a pretty good representation of the past nine months:

Thank you all for playing. This region would have been nothing without you. You made it all worthwhile.

you know you can get someone to download the images for you then get them to upload it to IMGBB or something like that, then copy The BBCode and replace it :D

Hopefully this helps and I don’t just sound annoying.

Welcome to The All People Cup! page=poll/p=319417
3 random countries from the region The All People Union were selected for a cup, where they will be voted, let's see who will be the big winner!

If you really believe this is spam, do not report it, as this is just an advertisement for a vote, which will be sent to several regions that have an embassy with the region The All People Union, if you really believe this is spam, let me know and I will perhaps stop sending these advertisements to your region

The NS/OBI Mega fun poll is back in the house! in the immortal words of Flava Flav "Yeahhh Boi!!!!"

Do you like Sushi 🍣 🤔??

page=poll/p=319406

^ Vote here or the shade of Dick Chaney will nibble yer bum! OH THE HORROR!!! dont risk this fate, VOTE!!!! >:)

he ceased to exist guys

Welcome to The All People Cup (TAPC)!
Three nations residing in the The All People Union region were chosen for a cup, and whoever gets the most votes wins.
Special Event: The Three Founders

Well, several regions across NationStates advertise their polls and send them to regions that have embassies with the region doing the advertising. At no point is it mentioned that this is considered spam on NationStates itself; otherwise, there would be many, many nations being banned in NS for spamming (in this case, advertising).

RIP to the sands casino.

We had great memories here, like gambling till the sun arose!

And it’s sad to see someone like this meet the same fate as so many others…

Especially due to Kier Stalin!

So this my final goodbye to the region…

And a final goodbye to our old card dealer!

RIP sands casino 2017 - 2025

Thank you for your many years of service! You truly kept this region alive, even while I myself had stepped away.

Coincidentally, we now have an opening for a general manager!
