Never lived in Detroit itself, just one of the suburbs. Good to have you drop in our poor little region. Sorry, it's not very active.
That's fine most Regions like this are not that active either.
When I was a little kid we lived all over Detroit. My grandfather lived in Oak Park for years, and I even got to see the Red Wings at old Cobo Hall. My grandmother on my mom's side lived on Wellesley St in Pleasant Ridge. We had a house on Calvert, then moved to Clawson, then moved away to Lake Orion. That was in the late 50's until '63, the year Kennedy was shot. The following year we left Michigan and never went back.
