Or they might be more aware of the wider implications of "from the river to the sea" and how it basically equals the same type of ethnic cleansing (in theory) that is going on right now in parts of the world like Gaza, Myanmar, or Sudan, thus being more reluctant of happily promoting these extremist ideologies in the name of 'humanity'.

In theory? Denying genocide is really problematic and fascist-leaning. You shouldn't make excuses for perpetrators of genocide that are wanted for war crimes, like Netanyahu.
