Today, we face a critical moment in our shared history. Africa is rich with resources, yet many of our nations suffer from poverty, underdevelopment, and exploitation. The time has come for us to reclaim our rightful place in the world—not as beggars at the gates of the West, but as equals, proud and self-sufficient. Together, we must build a new Africa, a united Africa, a strong Africa.
Under the banner of the African Union, we have the potential to transform this continent. No longer should our differences divide us, nor should our diversity be a source of conflict.
