Being able to reflect on what worked and what didn't is the most crucial aspect of losing. We received more than 100 votes in both rounds and finished ninth. Despite all of the criticism and arguments directed at us, I see the first election as a victory. I'm going to participate in a number of campaign reforms and pledges to increase my chances of winning the next round of elections in December. Above all, this dispatch has undergone a complete remodelling. Second, the EPR Hotline is available in the forums; further details are provided below. Thirdly, we shall maintain our position and return stronger than before!

My close friends on NationStates asked me to try running for the first election last time. To put it mildly, it was a really unusual experience. I ran on the platform of elitism when I first ran. To be clear, I'm running on it once more. The elites of NationStates, the same old guard that has had a long-standing presence and control over the GA and gameside at large, are the ones who are the most elitist here, but not in the traditional sense; rather, it is being utilized more in a globalist and agenda sense. As the foremost candidate, I am here to advocate for the marginalized, the conservatives, the moderates, the smaller regions, and those who have been left behind. Minor reforms or having the same people in the same places voice the same viewpoints over the masses won't get us far. To create a road for everyone to genuinely speak and stand on, we need new individuals and voices to come forward. My campaign is here to stay. I sincerely declare my candidacy once more for the post of World Assembly Secretariat.

#1: Platforming. The elitism that persisted after the reset is the main problem with the GA. The smaller and medium-sized regions are not represented. Anyone who is perceived as an adversary of the left-leaning regions is viewed as problematic and is eventually left behind. I promise to run for office on behalf of the little guys, the underdogs. I've worked with small and medium-sized regions, so I know how powerful having your own community can be. We are not friends with those from Starlight and the Pacifics. The little guy is not represented by them. You don't like the politics of new players to the WA, so you're preventing them from making proposals? That is elitism, indeed.

#2: Anti-Fascism Pledge. As a candidate who finished ninth and garnered more than 100 votes in both rounds of the first election, I promise to uphold my commitment to never collaborate with the Fifth Empire and to never provide the fascists with the means or opportunity to win. Fascism is the scum of the planet, regardless of any little differences between more conservative and left-leaning regions. I will never go so far as to collaborate with them or help them in winning elections. The Fifth Empire's trolls and infidels can stay to themselves. I strongly advise against voting for them since they will never have a chance to win.

#3: Engagement. Being engaged and active is one of the most important aspects of becoming a Secretariat. When making your recommendations, you must be prepared and prompt. You must be able to assist players in creating proposals and provide guidance. You become one of the main figures people turn to for help when they have questions. I pledge to be one of those leading figures. I'm launching the EPR Hotline on the forums to demonstrate my openness and to help everyone. You can use this to have someone to talk to, ask any questions, or seek general gameplay advice. All that I ask is that everyone remains civil and follows the site guidelines on there. I pledge to be available and prepared for contact at all times during the day for whatever is necessary.

#4: Character. One of the most important aspects of this voting process is being able to be honest about your personal identity, values, and character. We won't all agree on everything in the end; therefore, I'm not here to argue over whether other people's political views coincide with mine. The fact that we can all respectfully disagree and listen to one another is crucial to all of this. The primary goal of this position is to identify the most qualified candidate to head the GA and assist in determining its voice and course. I think I speak for all the underdogs, the little guys, and conservatives who share my views. #5: General Assembly. Encouraging new players to get more involved in the World Assembly as a whole was one of the reset's primary objectives. A new piece of the pie could be awarded to everyone. On paper, this sounded amazing, but the old guard and elitism kept any significant change from occurring. On top of their previous badges, the same old guard received new ones. New players were unable to obtain new badges because of the same old guard. We are now forced to accept proposals, even if we don't agree with them, or we risk losing our voting rights now. I'm here to fight this. Reelecting the same old guard won't solve the system's need for a complete reset. I promise to encourage up-and-coming writers and assist anyone I can in finding a voice and a successful path. I'll focus on helping authors navigate this new environment and learning how to create outstanding legislation that upholds true principles. My top goal in the General Assembly is to evaluate every proposal, consider its advantages and disadvantages, and provide my complete counsel while also informing each player about the proposal's author. Right now, I write my recommendations for WA votes on my region's RMB and will continue to do so until the election is over.

#6: Security Council. The Security Council did not reset, but the General Assembly did. In spite of this, the Secretariats do offer recommendations to both the General Assembly and the Security Council. For the Security Council, I will primarily concentrate on well-written declarations, well-written commendations, the repudiation of previous liberation efforts, and the development of new liberation efforts. I promise to help remove the obstacles standing in the way of new players entering the Security Council and to support new authorship. As previously mentioned, I have already written my suggestions on my RMB for my WA votes, including the Security Council, and I will continue doing so until this election is over.

#7: Authorship. It is a serious issue in and of itself to characterize people who disagree with you politically or who don't share your values and beliefs as problematic. Nobody benefits from this polarization. I promise to support up-and-coming writers and not stop anyone—aside from fascists—from drafting new proposals. I'll work on the forums to review drafts and provide comments, counsel, and encouragement. I will stay accessible for contact for help and general advice. To assist others, I'll work on my EPR Hotline forum. I'll be available to assist others on Discord. Everyone should be given the opportunity to make new proposals, with the exception of fascists. To put their voices on the map, I will collaborate with smaller, less well-known regions. Elitism must end! #DownWithElitism
Ich hoffe, es geht Euch allen gut mit der Hitze. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht der größte Freund von solch warmen Tagen bin. Ich fahre aber bald in den Norden, da erwarten mich kühlere Temperaturen.
Wie ist bei Euch so der Sommer verlaufen? Ich habe den meisten Juli über nur Hausarbeiten geschrieben und freue mich auf Erholung.
Ich habe diesbezüglich eine kleine Umfrage eingestellt: page=poll/p=327728. Mir persönlich gefällt das Frühjahr immer am besten, weil dort alles nach dem Winter so erfrischt und grün aussieht und zum Teil angenehme Temperaturen herrschen (obwohl beim April kann man sich nie sicher sein).
Mir geht’s super. Ich bin gerade aus dem Süden Frankreichs von meinem Bildungsurlaub zurück und erstmal geschafft. Obwohl es dort unten laut Wetter-App sogar ein paar Grad kühler war als hier. Demnächst kommt dann der richtige Urlaub ohne Seminare, wo es wahrscheinlich aber wärmer sein wird.
Ich muss nach deinem Kommentar aber gleich wieder an den Berg an Arbeit denken, der mich in ein paar Wochen wieder einholt … Aber das ist jetzt wohl ein Problem für mein Zukunfts-Ich.
Frühling würde ich auch als meinen Top-Favoriten nennen, wobei der Winter auch schön ist, wenn man drinnen im wohlig Warmen sein kann.
Arbeit gibt's immer, Urlaub nur manchmal (leider) - genieß es also!
Winter finde ich ebenfalls schön, vor allem die (Vor)weihnachtszeit mit Kerzenschein, Plätzchen, Räuchermännchen usw. bringt mich immer wieder in gute Laune.
Ich kann wirklich nicht mehr glauben wie lange ich hier bereits schon bin. Und ich fühl mich immernoch wie ein Newbie.
Vor 3 Jahren, wo ich meine Nation erstellt habe, ging ich noch in der 8ten, jetzt habe ich nur noch ein Jahr von meiner Ausbildung vor mir. Die Elektrotechnik Gesellenprüfung Teil 1 Prüfung habe ich auch bestanden seit neustem.
Tja, so schnell kann die Zeit verfliegen. Bei mir sind es mittlerweile auch schon 6 1/2 Jahre, in denen ich ein- oder zweimal die nukleare Lösung gewählt habe … Ich fühle mich ebenfalls noch ziemlich unerfahren, insbesondere in Sachen Governor. Wobei ich das Amt eigentlich immer noch nur übergangsweise innehabe. Leider ist die Region im Austausch etwas erstarrt, und Roleplay war hier während meiner Zeit ja ohnehin nie besonders groß. Deshalb werde ich das Amt wohl trotz meines Zeitmangels noch eine ganze Weile behalten.
Ich wünsche dir viel Glück für dein letztes Ausbildungsjahr und hoffe natürlich als Governor, dass du uns hier noch lange erhalten bleibst. ;)
