| What is N-Day?

NationStates hosts a number of gameside events every year, including Z-Day, the World Trade Fairs, and N-Day. Participation in N-Day is optional, but for those who do, they can produce and send nuclear weapons to other participating nations, as well as create and deploy shields. On N-Day, factions provide nations the opportunity to cooperate with one another in order to defeat other strong factions. To put it simply, N-Day is a game event inside a game, and everyone who takes part has a great time!

| Who are the Freedom Fighters?

When the Freedom Fighters originally formed in 2025, we were the tenth-largest faction in terms of raw size. In the end, we were the 25th faction still alive! For fun, freedom, and enjoyment, the Freedom Fighters were founded. We welcome everyone, regardless of what region they reside in, but no one is or will be forced to join. However, application processing determines membership status in the Regional League. Again, anyone is welcome to join our faction; there are no prerequisites. The third running of the Freedom Fighters will take place this N-Day 15!

| How do we communicate as a faction; is there a Discord server?

Communication will mostly take place on the Regional League RMB. To ensure that all nations may interact without cluttering main RMBs, make sure your region has an embassy with the Regional League. Throughout N-Day, Communication Officers will be stationed to disseminate news and updates to each region's primary RMBs and, if necessary, regional telegrams will be sent out. We are making even more big adjustments this time around, so please be patient. New Discord Server Coming Very Very Soon!

| What's our goal as a faction?

As a faction, we discovered many internal issues on our second N-Day together! This time, we're bringing in a number of new changes, including revised dispatches and formats, new guides, and more private and secure communication channels. We are implementing corporal punishment to kick players who have received warnings from the faction, and we have extended and restored military-style leadership levels and functions. Everyone is advised to read and abide by the information on the most recent changes to our strategy. We have significantly altered our strategy and reevaluated our options in light of the puppet spamming and large faction strikes. Being in the top 15 surviving factions is our main goal. Everyone should follow the common communication chain, actively watch the RMBs, or check Discord. We will be actively sharing communication channels on all RMBs to ensure that everyone is in agreement. | Do we win anything after this?

Even though it's not required to participate in N-Day, those who do have a chance to receive card rewards, personalized RMB posts, and a dispatch recognizing their participation! The top-performing nations and regions will get personalized certificates and honors! Even if this is only for fun, it's the least we can do to honor people that help our faction succeed. As regional leaders, we do our best to recognize the efforts of individuals who support our faction, but you don't earn anything spectacular from NationStates itself for truly succeeding as a faction or for your nation's personal achievement. N-Day: What You Need to Know; Custom Guide Dispatches Being Worked On For N-Day16 (Stay Tuned)!

| Production Line

Military Specialist: Create nukes and keep an eye out for targeting and fire orders, which you should follow promptly. Only target the faction you are told to target, and if you are on the Discord and it is working, make use of our targeting bot—further instruction on this will be given in the Discord and by major updates on the RMB.

Strategic Specialist: Begin producing shields. Watch the faction page for incoming nukes and prepare to intercept them. Shout out in the Discord or bold on the RL RMB if there are too many nukes being targeted for you to intercept all of them. Be cautious that you are intercepting incoming rather than outgoing nukes. It is also likely that you will be asked to shield incoming nukes from one of our allied factions at some point during the event.

Economic Specialist: Pick whether you would like to produce Shields or Nukes. If you are on the Discord and checking orders regularly or running many puppets, we recommend producing nukes; however, if you are primarily gameside or this is your first N-Day, we recommend producing shields and watching our faction's Incoming Page.

Cleanup Specialist: PRODUCE SHIELDS! If the shield wall is breached, then hoard production and sort through our list of nations to find completely destroyed ones to use your cleanup on once you have enough. It is not recommended to cleanup a nation that isn't completely destroyed, as its radiation will decay anyway.

| Shield Wall

- One of our top responsibilities is to make sure that our shield bank has an active fulfillment of at least 40,000 shields because it can hold between 60,000 and 65,000 shields at any given moment. This will serve as a safeguard to guarantee the protection of all nations.

- We request that all nations pay attention to all standing orders and give priority to those who are most qualified to make shields. Before beginning to produce or send off nukes, it is advised that every nation, regardless of specialized production, have at least 1,000 of their own shields on hand. After defending yourself, get ready to strike. To make sure that this is given top priority, we will be using the Shield Wall.

- We will be requesting that all nations make sure they always have 1,000 shields in order to build a gigantic Shield Wall that will make us much more easily protected this time. Make sure to seek assistance or guidance on the RL RMB or Discord channel if your nation is under attack. In order to transmit 25% of shields to the shield bank and maintain 75% of them on hand to manually intercept attacks, it is advised that all nations commit to a 75-25 ratio. Please give the bank all of your leftover shields if your nation won't be active for a certain period of time.

| STOP Light System

☐: In an emergency (more notably when the shield bank is in danger), the red light will be utilized. If a red light is indicated, a table and bolded notice will be put immediately everywhere. If a significant faction attacks us or if there is a significant change in the game strategy that requires quick attention, a red light may also be sent. A red light will be issued in order to restart the bank when the shield bank drops below 30,000 shields, which puts it in grave danger. To bring everything back on track, all ranking officials will shift the focus to rebuilding shields and refocus priorities during the red light procedure.

☐: The yellow light is most commonly employed when we are under attack from another faction and must divide our attention between planning attacks and maintaining a strong shield bank. We retaliate forcefully when a faction strikes us. Declaring a yellow light serves to refocus priorities and indicates that there is a risk of an assault by another faction, but it does not indicate that we are in imminent danger of destruction. During a yellow light, all ranking officials collaborate to assign tasks, and more updates are sent to help get everything back on track.

☐: A green light doesn't require a particular declaration; instead, it refers to conventional procedures and the chain of command. A green light indicates that everything is in perfect condition. Keep an eye out for updates and pay heed to the ranking officials' advice on what to do or concentrate on.

| Puppet Line

Time Requirements: Before your puppets can participate in the N-Day fun, they must be a specific number of days old. To ensure that all puppet nations can be properly used to help our faction, we ask that everyone who is creating new puppet nations ensure that they are made at least 1 month (31 days) prior to the start of N-Day. To make sure our puppet line can be completed correctly, this guide will be shared with a post to each member region a month prior to N-Day.

# Of Puppets Recommended Per Nation: Although it isn't required or a general rule, we want everyone to have a few puppet nations to support our numbers and power. It is advised that anyone with a laptop or PC and a phone use a split screen to simultaneously work with a puppet and the main nation. It's time to take the fight to other factions and regions that engage in bot and puppet spam.

Where To Keep Puppets: There are no restrictions on where puppets may be sent; they can be dispatched to any region. Every N-Day, the Regional League region will be open to anybody who wants to store puppets there.

Invite Your Friends: Every nation is urged to actively recruit friends and family to join us on N-Day! Encourage them to join us even if they aren't on NationStates, and if they create a new nation, make sure it is created at least one month before N-Day so they may participate in the fun! The more numbers we have, the better.

| Goals

Top-8 Faction by Raw Size: With over 200 nations joining our faction, we were classified once again as the tenth largest faction in terms of raw size during N-Day 14. We have big expectations again and want to be in the top 8 this time! Regardless of whatever region you reside in, we want everyone to join our faction. Additionally, we urge everyone to join our faction by inviting their friends, family, and puppet nations; there's power in numbers!

Top 15 Final Rank: Being at least the 15th-standing faction will be our biggest and most difficult goal. For the first time as a cohesive faction, we placed 25th last year. We, however, got destroyed in N-Day 14... This goal will be substantially aided by our new strategies, communication changes, and military-style leadership zone levels. This time around, we hope that everyone will help us reach our lofty goal!

Survive: Objectively speaking, we just want to survive until the end. Our new tactics, communication, and leadership structures will help prevent any mess or damage and give us a better yield and view of attacks. They will also enable us to make on-the-fly alterations and tweaks to our plans as needed, preventing complete annihilation or wipeout.

Learn & Grow: For N-Day 15, learning, development, and growth will be our top priorities. We are making adjustments based on the lessons we learnt from last time's mistakes. After testing our changes, we will go over everything once more in preparation for the next N-Day. Developing the best strategy and plan to proceed is our top concern, and this dispatch will assist in guiding everyone with our new missions and goals. We're hoping for the best, because change is and may be beneficial.

- Joining the Freedom Fighters is the first thing that each player should do! To join us, click the link at the top of each dispatch. In order to help spread the news and give information regarding N-Day, we also ask all member regions to pin our main dispatches in their respective regions.

- The second thing that every player should do is familiarize themselves with the changes that we will be doing going ahead. After learning about those changes, you should study our new special guide for up-to-date material that clarifies and directs our new strategic concepts.

- As the event begins, the third and primary focus is to pay attention to all communications and adhere to the chain of command. Take advantage of the guides and our new strategies. Put in the work. We'll attack in the following order: #Surprise and #Surprise. Keep an eye out for new missions and standing orders.
