Loading...Happy Tuesday!!
First of all, wish a big congratulations to Nation of the Week Elugria. New to Ridgefield, but not new to NationStates. Give them a warm welcome!

Good day, Ridgefield! This is your Mayor here, coming in on behalf of our cultural office! It's a new week, so a new Nation of the Week. This week it is...Elugria! While new to Ridgefield, Elugria is not new to NationStates and has just decided to join our region! Welcome and congratulations!
Second of all, our question of the week! Let's bring some happiness today - What small, insignificant thing gives you joy? Let us know here on the RMB.
Also, if you have not yet - make sure to join the WA and endorse your fellow regionmates.
FACT: The single greatest thing you can do to prevent this region from getting damaged by raiders is joining the World Assembly and endorsing everyone here. This is because of a concept of "influence". In NationStates, you gain roughly one influence every 12 hours, plus one more for every endorsement you have. Thus, someone with 5 endorsements gains 12 every day. Influence is needed to eject people from the region, but the influence needed is proportional to the person you are ejecting's influence. Therefore, if everyone in a region of fifty people joined the World Assembly and endorsed each other, they'd be much safer from raiders than a region of 100 with only 25 people cross-endorsing. Endorsing everyone in the region only takes a few minutes, but it means weeks or months of repair are not necessary should we get raided. Additionally, since you can only join the WA with one nation even if you can make multiple nations, it ensures that everyone in our region is exactly who they say they are, and that they are committed to making Ridgefield their home.
As a result, joining the World Assembly is required here in Ridgefield, under penalty of ejection, due to the security risk non-WA nations pose.
But that's not all! The World Assembly is an incredible opportunity for you to make your voice heard. You may have seen those resolutions up at vote on the World Assembly page. Guess what? They were written by nations just like yours! Here in Ridgefield, we're all about helping you make world-changing proposals. Just telegram me, and I and your other neighbors will be happy to help you draft something that really shines!
Supply your email in: page=settings
Go to page=un and click "Apply to Join"
Go to your email, and click on the link NationStates sends you (check your spam folder if you don't see it).
Go to the bottom of someone's nation page and click "Endorse [Nation]" to endorse them. You can start with me, your neighbor across the street, or anyone else! The more, the better!
There are three ways to endorse everyone in a region:
Go to this website and enter your nation name (without the title) and our region name (our region is Ridgefield):
https://tart.calref.ca/Consider joining our
discord and use /swap. You'll also get on discord help with writing proposals, which is a must if you want to get something passed in spite of the ornery World Assembly curmudgeons!Look here for a list of nations to endorse: page=dispatch/id=1986050
Congratulations Elugria but do not forget to join the World Assembly when you have a moment.
As far as the question of the week, I would say that it would be a cup of tea with another overlooking a bit of nature. When one can see the world in its simplicity, then all complex things become as they are. Much like a cup of tea.
Tea, in more archaic ideals, is the sum of its parts. Earth to raise the tea leaves, Water to blend it, Fire to brew it, and Air blown to cool it or the steam that rises from it.
Happy WA Wednesday! Hopefully. Been busy today, so I hope it's still Wednesday wherever you are on the globe! 😅 As per usual:
• Make sure to keep up with endorsements with the /swap command over on our Discord, the registry, or tart.calref.ca
• Ensure you're up-to-date and over 75% at page=ga_compliance
• Check out last week's NWWA here
Thanks, and I hope you have a great rest of your week! Friday is fast approaching. Let's make it a good one!
You can say that again friend with being busy my friend. It is sometimes difficult to count all on one hand what can or will occur during a day. I have even considering constructing an additional robotic limb to aid even further in such tasks but it would only weigh me down with additional weight.
Perhaps a short walk would do me better to clear the head? Ha! If I can sing more clearly in the rain that hovers over.
Happy Friday! Today's NWitWA is out now. I hope you've had a good week and have a great weekend. Thank you all!

Welcome back, friends! Another week, another Friday, another dispatch from yours truly. For the first time in Volume IV's history, we don't have any GA proposals on the radar. We have at vote, up next, and nothing else. There's a literal hundred-approval gap between the up next and the runner-up proposals. Absolutely mad! Anyhow, we have no time to waste, so let's jump right into a uniquely empty GA!

Wowie, another non-repeal! Is it Christmas? So, I'm going to be honest. I know nothing about TNM. But from what I've now read, I'm not entirely sure I like what I see. It seems like a place of ancient absolute NatSovism. But I'm not entirely sure that's the reason I don't really like this proposal. It makes a good case for its target, but I'm really not confident we should be commending highly inactive, three-nation, delegateless regions with CTEd, antiquity-founded governors. It's a well-written proposal with good justifications, but I don't think it's a worthy nominee. This is, I believe, a first for me... I'm giving it a NEUTRAL.
And that's everything for tonight! I hope you've had a splendid week, and I'll see you on Wednesday when I ping you all again to remind you to endorse each other. Have a lovely weekend, Ridgefield!
Ah, to be flushing away the weekend in brief determination of the working shifts. I would offer my thanks instead of more news and am looking forward to space transportation at current vote.
It gives me hope for the future of my country and as I look back, I happen to wonder how exactly I have found myself in the situation that I am in. My secretary tells me that my "long standing regime" of being re-elected consistently has created both a happy and yet blunt populace.
How does one judge when you're people are in both the top .6% in the world of being rude but also the top 2% of niceness and top 3% of compassion? Perhaps allowing augmentation so freely has lead us to a more "blunt" and almost robotic like responses. Even my secretary has taken to wearing more "free" outfits as we have crossed into the top 6% of Nudity and I am carefully rationalizing this as a way to have better access to cooling upgrades.
So I ask my fellow neighbors, do you also find something amusing of the little quirks of your people according to the census rankings?
Cheers my friends, even if it is fairly late on a Tuesday(or it is still for me).
Give a heartly congratulations to Foert would you please? They're the new nation of the week

Salutations friends and may the day bring you warmth. On behalf of the cultural office, I will be declaring the nation of the week by rigorous juggling of magical eight balls. After only managing to hold onto three of them for the number 24,and by using the weapons manufactoring regional ranking, it is Foert. What does juggling eight balls have to do with weapons? Sometimes weapon firing tests are best left to chance with proper safety ofcourse. As far as culture, well fireworks explode after all. Just be mindful of how much powder you use. Congratulations friend, may you keep all your digits and celebrate wisely with this new recognition.
As far as the question of the week friends, I ask you, would you ever be willing to go spelunking into the depths of the earth and why or why not?
Congrats Foert!!
Hmm...depends on the depth. But probably not. Safety reasons, I'd be very concerned the whole time.
I would not blame you for being concerned, one never knows what lurks in the deep.
Happy WA Wednesday!
My usual spiel:
• Keep on keeping on with endorsements with the registry, tart.calref, or the /swap command over on Discord
• Ensure you're over 75% adoptions at page=ga_compliance
• If you missed it, read last week's NWWA here
