The Republic of Trimmania is a gargantuan, orderly nation, ruled by Trimm with an iron fist, and notable for its ban on automobiles, compulsory military service, and strictly enforced bedtime. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 37.705 billion Trimmanians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defense, Education, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Caprica City. The average income tax rate is 99.5%.

The enormous but inefficient Trimmanian economy, worth a remarkable 3,767 trillion ooga boogas a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is extremely specialized, is mostly made up of the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Book Publishing. State-owned companies are the norm. Average income is 99,928 ooga boogas, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The nation refuses to provide international aid, strange lights seen in the sky are officially regarded as weather balloons or hoaxes and nothing else, discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is illegal, and there has been a rapid increase of noise complaints over the sound of buzzing bees. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Trimmania's national animal is the snork, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Trimmania is ranked 281,115th in the world and 3,809th in The East Pacific for Fattest Citizens, with 6.12 Obesity Rate.
