The Federation of Tiodann is a mammoth, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Elara Valenthis with a fair hand, and notable for its state-planned economy, free-roaming dinosaurs, and keen interest in outer space. The compassionate, democratic, cheerful, devout population of 5.09 billion Tiodannians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Welfare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Zenith. The average income tax rate is 92.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Tiodannian economy, worth 663 trillion Dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Basket Weaving. Average income is an impressive 130,359 Dollars, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Cogitators and mass debaters are skiving off work to hang around the National Symposium Park, families waiting for delayed pipe installations hope daily for rain, access to the woods is only granted to those who bring a small shrubbery, and universities spend millions cultivating ivy on their buildings. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tiodann's national animal is the Fox, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Tiodann is ranked 3,627^th in the world and 158^th in The North Pacific for Safest, scoring 133.67 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
