General Assembly
Security Council
The You endorse me I endorse you of Shapeville is a massive, genial nation, renowned for its museums and concert halls, feral children, and keen interest in outer space. The compassionate, democratic population of 1.313 billion Shapevilleans hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.
The medium-sized, liberal, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Administration, and Education. The average income tax rate is 44.6%, but much higher for the wealthy.
The frighteningly efficient Shapevillean economy, worth 151 trillion vertexes a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Retail. Average income is an impressive 115,159 vertexes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.
Lobotomies haven't been the same after the practice was severed, ministers browse Alright! magazine for fashion tips, a man's 250 square-foot apartment is his castle, and consumption of cat memes has skyrocketed. Crime is almost non-existent. Shapeville's national animal is the face, which is also the nation's favorite main course.
Shapeville is ranked 16,218th in the world and 576th in The North Pacific for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 56.7 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
